We're excited to welcome a new edition to our Halloween family - Our
Haunted Nursery. Spent the night dolling things up for Saturday. Lol it
looks like a serial killer hit our house.
The blood we used was a mix of clear Emlers glue and a lot of red food coloring with a drop of blue. Works perfectly and looks very realistic. Here is a link to a video tutorial by Still Beast Studios: https://youtu.be/WAmyAlj2FjU

Haunted Baby Bed
So I found a really cool website to mix ambient sounds for our yard haunt and wanted to share. The website is http://horror.ambient-mixer.com. I made the background ambient sounds with this website and then I mixed in sound effects using a free software called Audacity.
I thought I would include my mix if anyone is looking for Yard Haunt Sound Effects or soundscapes. Listed below are a few different files - please feel free to use them for personal use.
Witches Kitchen
Here is one with just the ambient background so you can make your own mix with sound effects.
The other one has Witches, Werewolves, and Zombies/Frankenstein all mixed together for a full soundscape
Haunted
My other soundscapes could be used for a haunted house or haunted nursery.
This one has a creepy mix of Lullaby and whispering
This one would make a good ambient background with creepy whispering.
If you like them both together this would be a great soundscape for your haunt.
Got in some mother/son time tonight practicing some zombie makeup. The family that plays together stays together.
You gotta love Spirit Halloween. Here's some of our new props.
Our biggest splurge was the swinging Zombie Girl.
As a Halloween tradition we let our son pick out a new Zombie Baby ever year - this is the one he chose for this year.
And a new severed window pane head.
Some night shots of this years cemetery.
Our cemetery is looking spooky this morning in the fog.
This year at Wolfmoon Cemetery we introduced the Werewolf's lair. The werewolf is just a half bust sticking up form the middle of the bushes on a pole. We scattered bones and skulls all over the place to make it a little more gruesome. It's also a nice place to showcase our Kiss pumpkins.
Freddy's Corner
This is on the south side of our yard. It's the 7 foot tall Grim Reapers realm.
We also added a 14ft Grim Reaper to the garage. Not an easy task, we had to use a cherry picker to get it up there.
Another addition this year was led lighting on the porch. It wasn't quite as bright as I was hoping but it still looked pretty cool.
This is our witches kitchen
Another new addition from Spirit Halloween - love this guy.
Here's our costumes for the year. My son was a Tusken Raider. The mask is handmade using a basic skeleton mask, linen, cardboard, leather, and painted markers for the tusks, and painted pens for the head antenna things.
My costume is a day of the dead skull. Part of it's tattoos from Spirit Halloween and the other part I used eyeliner.
